Learning english experiences

The experiences to learn english it's a key for the rigth develop as a professional person, the experiences to learn english in all faculties of the university  it's varied.
In my own experiences i felt the changes to take english in my faculty of art and take english in the faculty of icei, in arts it's more easy in my perspective. So, take english in this seccion on icei was a challenge. But the needs are in my endings career, this course are the last one in my career so de expectative to pass are a lots, my develop of my english  it was and are significant for me and my capacities to comunicate with person who talk in english it's really better.

The use of the blogs it was a important part of this learning, almost for the vocabulary, the coherence and cohesión, put in order the sentences it was the one of the points to job, and clearly the use of the verbal tenses in the right way. The blogs help me too for the practice the topics of my carrer and the investigation to do now. So, found the way to explain this interets topics for me makes a diference to thinking in other way this topics.

The aspects to need improve of my english was a lot, in genral i need to better all, i mean the orthography, have more vocabulary, pronuciation and all... but the progress i feel today and thats meke me feel quiet, but it'a necesary learn more and cotinue the practice of the language, so my plan it's talk with my friends in english, see and read in english and go to any country who talk in english and live there awhile.

Today i use english to see series and talks with my friends of other countrys, and thats it's very often. And thaks you teacher for the empaty and the patience, for the love with you do this job. You was one of the better teacher of english i ever had.

I changes a lots thigs of my career.

If i cant , i will do a lots changes in my career, the firts i do it's changes some academics of the career, for another academics more competent, how teach in a professional way. Because, some academics doing class in the department of theory and history of art only for the relation with the other academics how they had a job in the direction of the career, so, this academics are not especialist, but doing class only for his friendship with a people with power in the career.

Another thing i changes, it's to improve the area of restorating and coservation of heritage, and the first i do it's contract some specialist academic in this area. The second action to do i'ts incorporate a laboratory with the materials and tools necesary for a right learning and practice in the area.

I will changes the faculty buildings too, because today theory and history of arts have class in old cellars, wich are full of spiders of "rincon" and have problems with the conection of internet, this celllars, where we have class are very precarius. The heating system, if we can call it that way.. they are gas stoves with leaks... sometimes in winter, with all closed in the class we felt so high...
In the old times this buildings was a  warehouses of the faculty of sciences... i'ts not the better place to learn.

In the technologic area, the reallity it's not better, the career and the department it's poor, we have a olds generations of computers, and projectors with a bad resolution, so, when we study and work with images it's dificult to know the real colors of the paiting. It is tragicomic. So, the technolgy does not exist in the faculty of arts.

My favorite Artist now

The artist has caught my atention at this moment, and therefore, is now my favorite artists is Celia Leyton. She born in Santiago of Chile since 1895, she was student in Painting Academy of Chile in the 20s and 30s, their teachers was Juan Francisco Gonzales, Ricardo Brichón-Brunet and pedro Reszka, among others.
Her work it's related to her experiences when she was a child, their father was a landowner in the border with the Araucania. She had the opportunity to share with the nearby community, the culture Mapuche and their people caught their soul, the colors and the customs removed their pasion to the point that she decide dedicated to devote his whole life to the representation of this culture.

In the 50s and 60's she publicated two books, one about all his work, with the criticism, pictures and the exposition in which she participated. The second book she publicated it's more biographical, as memory of how she came to dedicated all his pictorial work to the Mapuche people.

I got this Celia this year, investigated and reading about old exposition of Chilean art, when i know about his work i felt a great emotion. What i like most about Celia and his work is the theme that represent, the culture Mapuche.

post 7 Lemebel in the air

Last Friday, before to does excessises, I walk in my faculty to go home, a flea fair it´s was saying, one site it was of books, the guy sold diferenet books with topics of art, literature, comics  and others, looking through the books i found three books by Pedro Lemebel: "Háblame de amores", "Poco hombre" y "Mi amiga Gladys". The three last published books, the last one "Mi amiga Gladys " it's a postum postum. So this guy who sold very cheap books and I bought "Mi amiga Gladys" y "Poco hombre" for 4.000 chilean pesos. A great aportunity and obviously i could not let it go.

I chose this issue because it's and it was an important   chronicle writer, in my opinion, the bets contemporary chronicler in Chile, and bought two books very cheap of him. Also, today, the topics he wrote about are very important for the society, the dissidences today fight for the recognition of their life conditions , live with racist people  that do not tolerate the diferences in all the kind of identities, these facts make it impossible to have a develpment of transgender people in society and in their professional lives.

Lemebel wrote and told us about this underground word, the violence they expossed, the yearnings in  this subjetcs, talk about the death in this places, the sexually transmitted diseases with wich they live. All this complicated and raw topics, Lemebel wrote in a beautiful way, with a characteristic lyric, and a sharp pen. He can published their books and insert in the cultural and artist midle, he contributing a vision critical of the problematic dissidences of gender.

The job i would like in the future

I would like job in conservation, but the firts is estudy that career... I like too much work in diferents museums, restoring and doing research with the colections in the museums of santiago and regions. I like job too in future do class of conservation if create this carrer in some universitie or intitute. it's very inportant for the profession some place that imparts in a serius and professional way.

I imagine this job.... like a job versatile, with my own proyects and work in colabortion with art institucion like dibam, museums and galeries among others, travel too, with another regions, especially in the south of Chile, place where is live the culture i want to studied in my future life.

So, like i say in the firts line of this text  my especialisation it´ll conservation, ¿why this discipline? Because, the conservation  is a means of vital imporntace for the permanence in time of the cultural heritage of any country and nation. The conservation seeks work with the piece of art and to intervene as little as posible in it. This particular point is the most important for the preservation, because piece of arts have suffering greats damage, like “ecce homo” in Spain, unlucky facts like that they not should happen again, and the proffesional knowledge, seriusly and responsable of conservation can avoid this.

Mapudungun

In my carrer, Theory and History of Arts the reflection it's so important, learn and instruct the eye is part of our job. Later, make a critical reflection and question how are or aren't in the work art and the speeches go trought is necesary to analyze this productions

My interest alway was the representation of cultures forgotten in the time, the precolombine art keeps all my atention in the first year. This subject develope in me the interest to learn about the culture it was before the came the spanish invaders, in Chile there were many cultures, but one took my antetion, the Mapuche people.

The study of their artistic production and the representation of themselves is not sufficient for me, introduce me in their culture  it was crucial, so, i toke the determination learn their lenguage.

Thankfully impart in the faculty of philosophy, for two years i take this subject and learned the basics of the lenguage to introduce myself and understand some things.

The experience was enriching, learn with a native speaker the teacher Hector 

Mariano and hear a lot about the culture makes me realised the politic work behind the revitalization of mapudungun and the necessary to make visible this culture and protect them.

The mapuche women

For the history the topics of indigenous women it was and it is even today a gray zone for the discipline.
Gayatric Spivak, a women study the fenomenon of colonialism in the subjects, say: "when it was and be a subaltern, the condition of gender (be a women) and ethnical makes them three time more subaltern."
This society condicional develop to the silence and invisibility of the women indigenous and the importance of her inside of the comunity.

In the particular, the case of the mapuche women is not different in the historiography, maybe counted with the fingers hands the investigation it's not sufficent for understand tath, mapuche women it's was and be a crucial character in the fight of mapuche people, for the freedom of their territory and their rights about them.

In some chronicles it's writed about mapuche womens fought side by side with the men, they are described like a powerfull and ruthless like a men... in this way, Ercilla in "The Aracuna" writed about Fresia in the same way...

On the another hand, in time of the UP, it was the mapuche women who led the lands ocupations in the cnetral and south of Chile, the "ñañas" organized and takes this land and built their communities "lof".

The mapuche women does and is an agent of history.

The concert of my life, David Gilmour in Chile

This concert was on December 20th of 2015, at Estadio Nacional. It was the first time... and the only time i saw the vocalist of my favorite band of my life, Pink Floyd. 

David Gilmour arrived to the band in the 70´s, he is the greatest guitarist and vocalist of this band. He co-produce the most album with Roger Waters.

It was amazing all the moments, it's felt in the air the cravings to hear him. I was with my brother and their friends. While waiting in the line i saw how the line it became more longer and longer, i arrive out to the stadium at four o'clock 

When the doors open and i passed the control, i did not care anything and run like Bolt in the olympics, ran and shouted, i want to stay in firts line in court, when i arrived, obviously y was lost my brother and all people who were with him.  I took care my privilege site and look around for my brother, reading to screamin when i saw him. We managed to find us, and hear togheter all the concert. we cry, sing and jump together.    

i love pasta and art

The country i would like visit and will study is Italy. Why this country? Because Italy is the best place to study conservation, i love it make a post grade there, work and see with all clasics arts pieces by the greats master of paint, sculpture, and the architecture. All i wants to learn and keep knowledge about the restoration and conservation its there.

I like study there, because in Chile this topic it´s not envelopment none university or institute, so, the options to learn about conservation is in abroad, like France, Spain and another places in europe. In America the options are in Argentina,  México and Perú.

But the best places for keep a complete and professional study of conservation it´s Italy for the long labor trajectory they have and maybe too for a romatic feels about the history of western arts …. and the food, oh my god! i love pasta too! only thinking about it, make me dribbling so much.

Anyway, my options always be return to Chile and work here all i will learn in Italy.
